I haven't really posted it much since Florida. I have over a little over a month till i race at Buffalo Springs 70.3 so i had a good week of recover last weekend with some light training, and a great group ride called the Honey Tour on the Memorial Day weekend. A fun ride that was 60miles at 25mph or faster that eventually left myself and another rider all by ourselves for a long time. The ironic part of the Honey tour was i got stung by a wasp or what i called a Bee that flew down my jersey. Oh well regardless it was a great ride that left Chance and i bonking in IHOP waiting for our meals, my veggie omelet wasn't worth the wait but Chances Steak Omelet that was bigger than i was looked amazing. SO i slept a lot last weekend, and this week I have started ram ping up the training, not much to tell, but swim/bike/run repeat, working on stroke efficiency and strength over the next weeks on the bike as well as allot of hill training in hot weather. Buffalo Springs is a very hilly and hot course that i would like to be prepared for. The key word of the Month will be "Focus". Its easy to stay focused when away at a training camp or there is a big race in two weeks,but its hard when your next race is a little ways away. Its easy to say tomorrow i will stop eating M&M's the race isn't for another month. But over the next month i will try and focus and show up on the start line as ready as i can be with no excuses.
So while i am on the topic of eating healthy, i have found an amazing franchise that if i had the money to purchase i would put it down the street, however the idea of a healthy pizza place fitting in between Americanized eating Establishments such as Whattaburger and Sonic may be difficult. Other great news is that i have another job this weekend other than riding my bike, i will be taking part in Brent Watches Far to Many Movies so why not write about it Critic review after watching Indiana Jones this weekend. I am sure this weekend will bring some amusing stories or at least a few pictures. Any way here are a few funny tee shirt pics that still have me shaking my head. Yes i guess my focus is not where it needs to be if i have too much time to look at stupid tee shirts.
